.These are an upgrade for the SCX10 axle housing that benefit the rig in several ways. XR Mod Beef Tubes allow you to install Axial Wraith/XR10 c-hubs and knuckles along with XR10 universals to obtain up to 70 degrees of steering. The aluminum adds minimal weight and was designed with the U4 racers in mind. They also "Beef" up the axle housing itself to help keep from snapping the housing in half. Another benefit is that they give you a solid metal mount for the c-hub screws, instead of the stock plastic that normally holds the c-hub screws and strips out easily.
They will work in both the front and rear axles.
You will receive two SCX10 XR Mod Beef Tubes and two beauty rings (enough for one axle).
Tube weight = 1 o.z. per set with rings.

This wide version allows you to keep the stock XR10 track width and will widen your SCX10 axle housing by 1/2" per side.
They will work in both the front and rear axles.

BEEF TIPS - SCX10 / SCX10 II - BRASS

100% pure BEEF! Beef Tips are the Beef Tubes version of stock shock spring retainers. Why do I need those, you ask? Because these can not fall off, that is why! These are not slotted like the stock plastic spring retainers which, if you are like us and run a soft shock setup, you constantly are losing while at a comp or out trailing. These are the brass version and tip the scales at 22 grams.
